Dr. Philip Lisagor, a long-time resident of Squaw Valley and Verdi, Nev., is a thoracic surgeon who was Chief of Surgery at the Jersey City Medical Center on September 11, 2001, the second busiest hospital in the country on that day. "Los Medicos Voladores" with Speaker Bob Horvath Bob Horvath is a 64-year-old entrepreneur/engineer who flies his twin engine private plane into remote villages of Mexico where Los Medicos Voladores (Flying Doctors) provide free medical service to its inhabitants. Los Medicos Voladores has been providing medical services since 1978 and Bob has flown 33 missions since 1994. Bob carried the Olympic torch through Truckee for the 2000 Olympic Games in honor of six Los Medicos volunteers who died in a plane crash.
